Tutorial installing MAC OS X 10.5.2 on windows Vmware WorkStation



1. download and install vmware workstation you can download the torrent below
vmware workstation bittorent file
2. download kalyway 10.5.2 mac os x image from the torrent below
Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso
3. open vmware workstation and click 'new virtual machine'
4. important notes for the new machine settings:
    i) for cd\dvd select iso and pick the kalyway iso you just downloaded
    ii) for operating system choose other and freebsd
    iii) for memory choose 1024 and for harddisk 30 gb
5. close workstation and open the vmx file you just created with notepad and change guestos to darwin
6. click the vmx file and launch workstation again
7. click f8 and in the bios option type -v
8. continue with the instalation when you reach install directory go to utilities - disk utility
select the vmware HD on the left chose erase on the right and name your new HD
9. close the disk utility - the new drive should apear chose it and continue with the instalation

  1. On the BIOS F8 option, I get the following error when using -v

    /com.apple.Boot.plist not found

    How do I get past this issue?

  2. my guess is that the mac os X image u r using is not good .
    r u sure u r using kalyway?
    i have the torrents links above .
    in my experience i found two iso of fresh installation that works good one of them is the above torrent link and the other is Mohamads you can find it in this link:

    make sure you download the iso and not the Vmware snapshot. in my opinion the fresh installation works much better then the snapshot version.

  4. Completed the install, but no operating system found on restart. Is it suppose to point to the 30 gig drive I created? or the ISO disk in the DVD drive? I did get the Apple logo with the later, but it never boots up. What am I doing wrong?
